K-Praiz

Enrollment is easy and straight forward, you can register online via our website K-Praiz Montessori Academy or pay us a visit in school Prior to the child’s first day, the parents are required to meet the Administrator/ Program Director to tour the Center, obtain required forms, and discuss the philosophy and program of K-Praiz.

At this time, all policies are discussed and fee schedules explained to the parents. We ask that parents to bring their child in, prior to his/her first day, just to “look around” and get acquainted with the place.

Orientation is a time when the parents can come in to see the school and discuss the type of program, we can offer their children. It is a time for the parents to be reassured that they know what will be going on during the day while their child is in our CARE.

This is also a time when parents can ask questions about the school. During this visit parents are given the opportunity to look around our facility and be shown the location of their child’s classroom.

Our Club membership program is designed to fish out, train and nurture the talents of our children that may have been suppressed, concealed, hidden and undeveloped as a result of many factors. Children are wonderful explorers’ they utilize every opportunity they have to construct themselves. At K-Praiz Montessori Academy, we prepare the environment for the children to reveal themselves through our educational but fun programs.

They learn the use of proper diction, grammar, phonics, spellings, quiz, and debate, enrich vocabulary, speech fluency and tongue twisting. Build and develop confidence in public speaking, News casting and reporting in the Book Club. They are exposed to the use of musical instruments like piano, guitar, violin, drums. They also learn to sing songs, read and interpret musical keys in the Music Club. They develop, widen, expand and enhance their imaginative and creative skills in the Creative Hands Club, which we call Practical Life Exercises. Their activities includes; arts and crafts, like making of snowflakes, origami, tearing of paper, paper collage, molding, threading and beading, cross stitching, folding and unfolding and lots more.

Children sing rhymes and songs, dance, role play, recite poems, action games and fun filled activities in the Mother goose Club. The children are trained to solve ‘’Mental Math’’ in the Brainetics Club. We reach out to children in the neighborhood through our Bible Club, which is free for all. No fee or membership registration is required. Here the children learn to pray, study the bible, recite memory verses, (bible quotations), hold debates, quizzes, hands on project and act dramas, based on the scriptures. Emphasis is on morals and soul winning.

We offer Guidance and Counseling services to parents and children alike. Confidentiality is our watch word, therefore be assured that your concerns, fears and worries are safe with us. We have introduced Nigerian Language Club where we teach Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba Languages. Foreign languages are not left out as we take children through the mastery of French and Spanish language

Registration form / Health History and Emergency Care Plan must be completed prior to attending K-Praiz Montessori Academy. Children in Crèche and Playgroup must submit their Immunization Record. An immunization form indicating dates of all shots is also required. It is the parent’s responsibility to keep the immunizations updated and inform us as additional immunizations occur.
Any change of address, telephone number (work or home), or other pertinent information must be shared with the Administrator as soon as the change occurs.
